Concentrated Potassium fertiliser for significant frost protection to a wide variety of crops and during sensitive cropping periods.

What Does it Do?

The Seaweed extracts and Amino Acids assist with the uptake of potassium concentrates, and turgidity providing you with approximately 8°C  extra frost tolerance.

How Does It Work?

The pH level of Warrior dramatically improves plants’ frost tolerance by disabling the bacteria which cause ice shards to develop in plant cells.

This bacteria, Pseudomonas syringae invades damaged tissue and produces a toxin that kills surrounding cells where the bacteria can then multiply.

It produces an ice nucleation protein around which ice crystals form. As the ice crystals enlarge, they pierce and severely damage the plant cells. This promotes frost damage in plants by inducing the formation of ice crystals at a higher temperature than they would otherwise form.

Warrior restricts the bacteria’s ability to penetrate the leaf surface creating an inhospitable surface for bacteria.
