The market closed slightly up. Continued reports of lower than expected yields for the European harvest and new contract highs for French wheat futures helped to provide support.
Chicago wheat for December 2007 is up 4 cents at 637 ½ cents per bushel.
Chicago corn for December 2007 is down 8 cents at 325 ½ cents per bushel.
Winnipeg canola for November 2007 is down $10 at $398.10 Canadian per tonne.
AWB’s Multi-Varietal contract price (based on APW) for the 07/08 season is up $3 today at:
$241.00 – Newcastle $241.00 – Port Kembla $239.00 – Geelong $232.00 – Portland $228.00 – Port Adelaide $216.00 – Port Lincoln $241.00 – Fremantle $224.00 – Geraldton AWB’s 07/08 canola price is down $9 at $459 per tonne, based on 42% oil, delivered Geelong.
