US wheat opened higher but declined into early session as funds sold off due to buying in other commodity markets. Prices remained just above the mornings lows for the rest of the session and into close.
Chicago Wheat for March 2009 is down 8 ¾ cents to 510 ½ cents per bushel.
Chicago Corn for March 2009 is up 1 ½ cents to 351 ¾ cents per bushel.
Winnipeg canola for March 2009 is up $6.00 to $414.10 Canadian a tonne.
AWB’s Fixed grade APW1 contract prices for the 08/09 season are unchanged at:
$269 – Brisbane $261 – Gladstone $291 – Newcastle $293 – Port Kembla $308 – Geelong $306 – Portland $299 – Port Adelaide $304 – Port Lincoln AWB’s 0809 canola price today is unchanged today at $540.00 per tonne, based on 42% oil, delivered Geelong.
